The Guerneville Dentist is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

Measures taken to support accessibility

  • Animations and motion effects are reduced for visitors who enable the prefers-reduced-motion setting in their operating system.
  • Images include descriptive alternative text where appropriate; purely decorative images are marked so that assistive technology ignores them.
  • Pages use semantic HTML, proper heading structure, and ARIA labels where needed.
  • The site is designed to be navigable using a keyboard alone.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on this site may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are aware of and working to improve include color contrast in certain decorative elements, heading order on some pages, and third-party content (such as embedded maps and forms) that we do not fully control.
